Welcome to Khesed Apparel! My name is Lyndsey, I own and fully manage Khesed. I have been a lover of all things fashion for as long as I can remember - around the early age of 7 to be exact. To imagine, how stoked my 7 year old self would feel right now, knowing that I am living up to what once was just a dream but now actual reality is insane to me and still feels like a dream within itself.. Although I have had this huge dream of owning my own clothing business someday, I never fully believed it would come to fruition especially at my still-young age and I can confidently say, It definitely would not have been possible without all of the prayers along the way. I am more than beyond blessed that God has allowed me to start my own business and have a job that I truly enjoy. In fact, it feels more like a hobby to me than just a job or just another ‘clothing store’ really.

About 3 years ago, I walked into the same building I now have signed my lease for, and at the time I remember walking out after looking at it, feeling so devastated because I just knew it wasn't time. It wasn't God's time. Then this year *2023* at 19 years old I have the keys to the same building and get to run Khesed out of it. This was GOD's timing and with that along with so many other factors in my life where God had shown himself, I decided I wanted to base my whole shop around Christ. Yes, I have been the *biggest lover of all things fashion for so long but my TRUEST, HIGHEST love is and will forever be for Christ my Lord so with that, it’s all about HIM!

now your probably asking okay well, WHAT EVEN IS ‘KHESED’ ???
Basing my shop around the Lord, For me also meant fully creating my branding name to be centered around him as well. Scripture uses the Hebrew word ‘Khesed' to describe God's unconditional and loyal love. And with that I also picked a certain Bible Verse that spoke to me during it all which was ; PSALM 136, reading “GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD, FOR HE IS GOOD. HIS LOVE ENDURES FOREVER.” ****for I will shower him in thankfulness for eternity! One of my biggest hopes is for every person who enters my store to feel God's love through me and I .so. look forward to meeting each and every one of you!
